The important thing to know about my approach to baby and child sleep problems, is that I don’t have one….as in only one. Your baby and family situation are absolutely unique, so I take a completely customized approach to addressing your specific challenges and goals with regard to your baby and child sleep issues.
Whether you want to teach your baby how to be a good sleeper from day one, or whether you are dealing with an issue that has arisen with an older infant or toddler, I can find a solution that takes into account your geographic location, logistics and time demands.
Then based on my understanding of your parenting philosophy and style, your family and I will work together to develop and implement a sleep plan that will work for your entire family and get everyone sleeping again.
I begin each engagement by having you complete a comprehensive intake form. This makes it easy for you to give me the necessary background on your baby such as any health issues, birthing difficulties, pre-mature birth or any other relevant information. Additionally I request information on your child’s current schedule, sleep habits, as well as your parenting philosophy. Once you return the intake form, we will arrange to have a one to two hour consultation, either by phone, Skype or in person, to review the form and discuss various sleep training strategies, and answer any questions or concerns you may have. I will then draw up the plan that we have agreed to, which is based on my knowledge and experience and your parenting philosophy. From there we will begin working together-being in touch each day-as you implement the plan.
